About Us
Established in 2008 by Allan Raper, Whistle & Flute are
bespoke tailors. We have a store close to Liverpool street and also
offer a visiting service. With a combined tailoring experience of
more than Ninety years and an impressive client list that includes
celebrities, footballers, Solicitors, members of the banking and
insurance fraternities.
We tailor our suits in workrooms in Yorkshire and in Upney,
Essex. We like to use our English workrooms as much as possible,
but also understand that due to peoples budgets, we have recently
introduced an overseas production to cater at the lower price
points.
Whistle & Flute is located in the heart of the City of
London, and taking inspiration from our East End location we
decided upon Whistle & Flute as the ideal name. It is cockney
rhyming slang for suit. Just like apples and pears and a dog and
bone - the perfect partnership in other words.
